Notes from Class: Graphic Design Final Project

In addition to core coursework, MAAA students take elective courses that suit their individual interests/needs. Electives can be taken anywhere on campus and students enroll in a wide variety of courses, from “Reporting the Arts” in the Journalism department to “The Anthropology of Tourism” in the Anthro deparment.

This spring semester, 1st year MAAA student Andrew took Y500/Graphic Design, an elective offered through the Arts Administration program. Students learned the fundamentals of design and digital media production with a focus on mastering Adobe Illustrator. Andrew’s final project was creating a show poster for Bravo! Vail, a music festival held yearly in Colorado. Check it out below!

*Fun fact: Andrew will be interning with Bravo! Vail this summer!
